After the drilling rig is moved into place, stable drilling work is carried out according to the drilling design parameters. The drilling rig is stabilized using tools such as the drilling rig frame, round wood, square wood, grabbing nails, and column setters, and the pressure column is driven with round wood, large boards, or individual columns; The top of the compressed column must be firmly tied with iron wire to secure objects such as anchor cables, steel ladders, anchor rods, or sheds to prevent loosening and falling accidents.

When the drilling rig needs to perform stable drilling above the belt conveyor and scraper conveyor, the distance between the bottom of the drilling rig runway and the top of the belt conveyor and scraper conveyor must be ensured to be at least 300mm. The hand operated column return device used to reinforce the drilling rig must be securely tied to secure support points such as anchor cables, anchor rods, and sheds. It is strictly prohibited to tie the hand operated column return device to unstable support points such as anchor nets, steel ladders, and shed support rods.

After the drilling rig is stable, it must be inspected by the on-site safety officer to confirm its safety and reliability before drilling can be carried out. Otherwise, drilling is strictly prohibited. Before drilling and returning the drill hole, retract the rotary device to the rear end of the frame and connect the drill rod and drill bit through the clamp; Before adding drill rods, it is necessary to check whether the drill rods are intact. Any incomplete drill rods are strictly prohibited from use;

Before adding, the threaded part of the drill pipe and any debris inside the drill pipe must be blown clean with compressed air or water to prevent increased wear and blockage of the threaded part. Cut open the metal mesh at the opening of the drilling hole, brush the coal and rock at the opening to ensure smooth contact of the drill bit. Open the water supply valve of the cooler and the water supply or air supply valve of the water braid, slowly rotate the rotary valve in the forward direction, and slowly advance it; After the installation of the dust collector, avoid sudden increase in pressure inside the hole, which may blow out the dust collector or other debris and cause injury to people or damage to the equipment.
